A Grisly Tale



The holiday season is not always warm and fuzzy.  December 6th is le jour de Saint Nicolas (Saint Nicolas Day) in France.  Saint Nicolas comes to visit children and bring them gifts.  We will be learning about Saint Nicolas and his friend Père Fouettard this week.  However, the story of how he came to be the patron saint of children is pretty grim.  Watch the film above to learn this grisly tale.

La rentrée
